Megan + David

I've been friends with Megan and David for several years now. Megan and I share a love for all things travel and adventure. David came into the picture a few years after her and I met and I've gotten to watch their love story unfold since. They have a love for Lake Tahoe and when we were planning their photoshoot, we decided it would be the perfect place to capture their moments together.

We planned for a sunrise shoot and got up there right as the sun was beginning to rise over the water, painting it a beautiful pink. We grabbed our hand warmers and jackets and hiked up to this spot that gives you a panoramic view of Lake Tahoe. We adventured around and warmed our fingers up in between shots as I photographed them together.

We then made our way down to the beach for some shots, which we had entirely to ourselves. It was Memorial Day Weekend and I was a little surprised how quiet it was. They made a date out of it and it was such a fun morning getting to document their memories in a place that means so much to them!
